Scotty is the co- founder of Anthony McKenzie Quality Consultants, Inc. AMQC is an ISO 9001 and Lean 6 Sigma consulting firm. His journey in ISO first began during his tenure at a Fortune 500 Company. He started out as an internal auditor to the ISO 9001:1994 standard. Scotty became actively engaged with the writing of work instructions, and procedures for the Fortune 500 Company when the standards changed from the ISO 9001:1994 to the ISO 9001:2000 standard. He also was an auditor for the ISO 14001 standard. His involvement with Kaizen Events helped him to have a better understanding of Lean Six Sigma. He helped conduct or participated on over 30 Kaizen events and 4 Lean Six Sigma projects before moving into management. Scotty’s next involvement came while working as the quality manager for an electrical company. He created the entire QMS system to the ISO 9001:2008 standard and got the company certified. The owners of the electrical company recognized a value in his abilities to lead and implement ISO 9001:2008. So a consulting company was created. Scotty implemented the ISO 9001:2008 standard in 7 different organizations while working at this firm. Now working At AMQC, He has helped many organizations make the transition from the ISO 9001:2008 standard to the ISO 9001:2015 standard successfully.
Scotty is responsible for managing aspects of the business at AMQC pertaining to ISO 9001, Lean 6 Sigma Kaizen events. He leads various projects, and provides expert advice/guidance on the topics of ISO and Lean Six Sigma. He writes entire turn-key quality management systems for organizations seeking ISO 9001:2008 or ISO 9001:2015 certification. These organizations range from manufacturing plants that provides products, virtual companies, or industries that provide only a service. Scotty is a Lead Auditor to both the 9001:2008 and 9001:2015 standards, as well as an active member of the TAG/TC 176 committee for ISO. He also provides database programming to assist in processes for pertinent data collection.
Scotty holds two Lean Six Sigma Black Belts (ASQ & IASSC), and he spent considerable time training under a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, destination Geneva, Switzerland. He is responsible for approving all Lean Six Sigma projects conducted through AMQC, as well as leading projects for companies. These projects may vary from Kaizen events, in-house training, and Lean Six Sigma projects.
Scotty is an active committee member of the ISO/TC 176. Scotty’s responsibilities include active participation in subcommittee, in a special assignment, or as a TAG officer. Subcommittees provide advice and guidance concerning U.S. positions on the work of the ISO/TC 176. Participation includes reviewing submitted documents or proposals and contributing to new U.S. proposals and working documents. Subcommittees are active until the assigned document becomes a published standard. It is expected that members stay abreast of new developments and participate in new task groups as they are created.

Joseph is one of the document controller’s for AMQC. Joseph also assists with the training activities at AMQC. Joseph has assisted on several ISO 9001:2015 transitions and fully understands the standard. Joseph is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Joseph is currently studying engineering at CPCC.
Katlyn is one of the document controller’s for AMQC. Katlyn had the opportunity to work as an intern with a consulting firm during her summer off from college. Katlyn also assists with the training activities at AMQC. Katlyn has worked on several ISO 9001:2008 projects. Katlyn is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Katlyn is currently studying Business at CPCC.
